Engine Diagnostics

Are the Engine Diagnostics licensed?

The system and cables that we use are licensed. The data that we pull from the engines and the reports that we write are used for manufacturing claims and for any repair work or for owners and representatives looking to purchase or sell their boats. We believe engine diagnostics are important for boat ownership to understand the health and longevity of your boats engine and function. Engine and Electronic diagnostics allows us to pull data such as engine hours, and various codes issues.

Our Engine and Electrical Coverage includes and is not limited to: Diesel Engines; Caterpillar, Cummins, Volvo Penta, MAN, Outboard Engines; Honda, Mercury, Nissan, Suzuki, Tohatsu, Yamaha, and Inboard Engines; Caterpillar, Cummins, Malibu, Toyota Marine, Marine Power, Mercury Mercruiser and Racing.

How long do your services take?

This depends on the service you are asking for; engine and electronic diagnostics can receive on the spot feedback and advice, 2 - 4 hours for a diagnostics report with images, on site or mobile support is dependent on availability and issue, technology and Navionics support: 1 - 3 hours, minor engine repairs (after consultation) and support: 1-2 business days (or longer depending on job and part(s) needed - we provide a free 30-minute consultation), boat deliveries and new owner orientation: same day delivery up to 1 - 2 weeks (depending on boat location and familiarity with boats). We are mobile, depending on timing, availability, and location.

FYI: Did you know that many marine insurance companies will not provide boat insurance without a new owner orientation.** Conditions apply.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept e-transfer, cheque or cash.

Engine repair

Where do you source replacement parts?

We source replacement parts from the most reputable dealers and OEMs. We do not purchase or order parts until we have consulted and received approval from our client.
